5 Assassination Teams Targeting President Donald Trump, Rep. Gaetz Reveals
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) made a startling revelation during an interview on Breitbart News Daily, disclosing that at least five known assassination teams are currently operating within the U.S. with the intent to kill President Donald Trump. Gaetz expressed deep concern about the lack of adequate security for Trump, especially as he ramps up his campaign for the 2024 election.
Gaetz told host Mike Slater that he had met with a senior Department of Homeland Security official, who confirmed the existence of these teams. “We are aware of at least five teams in-country that are geared toward killing Trump,” Gaetz said, emphasizing that three of the teams have foreign connections to Iran, Ukraine, and Pakistan, while two are domestic.
The congressman pointed to the recent assassination attempt outside of Trump’s West Palm Beach golf course as evidence that these threats are real and growing. The suspect, who had been waiting outside the property, was apprehended by the Secret Service. Gaetz criticized the security response, stating that more should be done to prevent such threats from escalating.
Gaetz also raised concerns about the diversion of security resources away from Trump to protect other officials. He called on Congress to investigate whether Trump’s protective detail is sufficient given the severity of the threats he faces.
With two failed assassination attempts already, Gaetz warned that the situation is becoming increasingly dangerous and called for immediate action to prevent any future attacks on Trump’s life.
