China Interfered In Multiple Canadian Federal Elections
Officials with far-left Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government have confirmed in testimony before the Public Inquiry into Foreign Interference that communist China interfered in at least two Canadian federal elections.
Trudeau’s government was previously briefed on the matter, but chose to do nothing — which is unsurprising considering Trudeau’s previous comments about admiring China’s dictatorship.

Recently released top secret documents from the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) showed that communist China — which the documents refer to as the People’s Republic of China (PRC) — “clandestinely and deceptively interfered in both the 2019 and 2021 general elections.”

Starting in 2018, Trudeau’s office received 34 different briefings about China’s election interference, according to reporting from the Globe and Mail.
Communist China reportedly interfered in both the 2019 and 2021 elections, with testimony read during the inquiry revealing that “in both cases, these FI activities were pragmatic in nature and focused primarily on supporting those viewed to be either pro-PRC or neutral on issues of interest to the PRC government.”
“They also write at least 18 candidates and 13 staff members were implicated in PRC FI networks, This includes, and this included members of multiple political parties,” the testimony continued.
Trudeau’s national security and intelligence adviser Nathalie Drouin, who served as deputy minister of justice and deputy attorney general during Canada’s 2019 federal election, noted that the “approach and the tactic” of China’s election interference was “to do some pragmatic work in the sense that they are doing activities when they believe it is necessary to promote their own” interest.
The classified document that Canada was forced to make public was dated Feb. 21, 2023, and came about after a whistleblower leaked information about China’s interference in Canadian elections to the media — primarily the Globe and Mail — which detailed China’s meddling that allegedly helped elect the Liberal minority government.
“We know that the PRC clandestinely and deceptively interfered both in the 2019 and 2021 general elections,” the document stated.
Trudeau has claimed that he previously told the Chinese Communist Party that it “needed to stop” interfering in his country’s elections, though it appears not to have worked. Either that, or the communism-supporting prime minister is lying and simply allowed the interference to continue.
Trudeau claims he told Chinese President Xi Jinping that China "needed to stop" interfering in Canada's democratic processes.
He adds that discussing the two Michaels held in custody by China was an "irritant" for them. https://t.co/irUitH5vNc pic.twitter.com/2sRVCC2HbH
