Dangerous: Kamala Harris Pledges Green Cards For Afghans Despite Accused ISIS Terrorist Entry
Vice President Kamala Harris is promising to provide green cards to tens of thousands of Afghan nationals brought to the US in 2021, even as concerns about vetting failures grow. This announcement comes after 27-year-old Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, an Afghan immigrant resettled in Oklahoma, was arrested for plotting an ISIS-inspired Election Day attack.
The Biden/Harris administration gave a Special Immigration VISA to the Afghan national who was planning an election day ISIS style terrorist attack.

Harris plans to push for a Senate bill that would grant permanent residency to Afghans resettled during the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan. The move has sparked controversy, as federal reports have revealed that many of these refugees were allowed into the US without proper screenings. Tawhedi, for instance, was granted entry despite his alleged ties to ISIS.
Republicans have raised alarms over this proposal, pointing to past vetting failures during the Biden-Harris administration’s Afghan resettlement program. Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and other GOP lawmakers have called for transparency regarding how many of these refugees pose security threats.

In one report, the Department of Homeland Security found that Afghan nationals who were not fully vetted could “pose a risk to national security.”
Despite these warnings, Harris remains committed to providing a pathway to citizenship for Afghans, raising concerns about the potential dangers of granting green cards to those who have not been thoroughly vetted.
