Divine Protection In Trump’s Close Call

Former President Donald Trump attributed his survival during an assassination attempt at a Pennsylvania rally to divine protection, stating, “It was God alone who prevented the unthinkable.” During the event, a gunman fired multiple shots from a nearby rooftop, narrowly missing Trump as he turned his head.

Eyewitnesses at the rally desperately tried to alert the police and Secret Service, shouting warnings like, “He’s got a gun!” However, the warnings went unheeded until it was almost too late. The shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, managed to fire several rounds before being taken down by a Secret Service counter-sniper.

Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), who served as White House physician under Trump, revealed that his nephew was among the injured, grazed by a bullet in the neck. Jackson praised the swift medical response that treated his nephew and other victims.

Trump’s message on Truth Social reflected his gratitude and faith. “We will FEAR NOT, but remain resilient in our Faith,” he posted, also extending prayers for the other victims and their families. Trump’s calm and composed demeanor after the attack, including his promise to continue with the Republican National Convention, showcased his resilience.

Despite the near-tragic event, Trump confirmed that the convention in Wisconsin would proceed as planned, emphasizing his commitment to leading the nation. This incident underscores the need for heightened security measures and the vital role of faith and community support in overcoming such threats.
