Schweizer Explains China’s Key Role In The Drug Epidemic
Americans have known for some time now that China has been partnering with Mexican drug cartels in the production of fentanyl, which is then distributed across American communities through President Joe Biden’s open border. However, the issue has been made much clearer thanks to author Peter Schweizer, who has exposed the massive scale of China’s influence over the drug epidemic.
In an interview with BlazeTV’s Mark Levin, host of “Life, Liberty and Levin,” Schweizer detailed the contents of his new book — “Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans.”
The New York Times #1 bestselling author explained to Levin that a congressional commission reported to the White House in 2021 that there were roughly 2,000 Chinese nationals in Mexico just south of the U.S. border who had been assisting Mexican cartels with the production of fentanyl, a deadly synthetic opioid, to smuggle across the border.
Despite receiving the report in 2021, the Biden administration continued to allow the southern border to remain wide open, rather than taking this shocking news as a sign to protect the American people by shuttering the border.
“That, to me, is the epitome of negligence, criminal negligence, because what you’re essentially saying is we know this is a systematic effort; we know that fentanyl is coming; we know that tens of thousands of Americans are dying every year,” Schweizer told Levin, adding that the Biden administration showed that it believed its “agenda is more important than actually protecting the American people.”
They went on to discuss the fact that Biden has refused to even verbally confront Chinese dictator Xi Jinping or any other Chinese officials about their role in the fentanyl trade — despite the fact that fentanyl poisoning has become the leading cause of death in the U.S. for people under the age of 45. Since 2018, more than a quarter million Americans died from a fentanyl overdose, and over 100,000 Americans die each year from the deadly drug.

“What you seem to be suggesting here is that Joe Biden is one of the greatest facilitators of the sale and use of fentanyl in the United States of America given his policies,” Levin said.
“He’s also one of the greatest, as the left calls them, ‘slavers’ in American history, given his border policies and the fact that unknown infinite numbers of women and children are being sold into sex slavery and pornography,” the BlazeTV host added.
“If you look at the human cost of the open border — human cost to Americans, human cost to women and children — the body count is astronomical,” Schweizer agreed.
